Make Your Own Headphone Bass Amp

Headphones rarely have much bass, and mobile devices rarely put out much power to those headphones anyway. If you're looking for a little more oomph from your mobile audio, Make shows off how to do just that. P

The build here is pretty complicated, but you'll be able to get all your parts easily. Once you're set, you'll need to some soldering and gluing to get your circuit working. From there, you'll just need to get the input/output box working, install some knobs, and you'll be set. It's by no means a beginner's project, but Make guides you through the steps very clearly, and the end result is better sounding music.

Backseat USB charger

A lot of modern cars have a handy USB charger in the backseat so people in the back can keep their gadgets charged. Of course, older cars don't, which is why Instructables user wongman2001 decided to install his own.

The install here uses a cigarette adaptor and a few terminal connectors to wire in all the cables. The charger threads through the seat so it ends up looking clean and natural in the back when you're done. That also means you'll have to take the seat out to install this, but it doesn't look too difficult. Head over to Instructables for the full guide on how you can do it for yourself.
